Intellisense WLAN is an Ethernet "NETWORK Ready" Monitoring
System that anyone can install in minutes. Wireless signal conditioning
sensors included can manage and measure a variety of real world signals
and environmental conditions. These signal condition interfaces include
temperature, motion, switch input/output, and light illumination. These
Intellisense modules operate seamlessly with your WLAN. All module initialization
and control is performed through a single web page that is served by
the Intellisense WLAN unit. In the case where a set alarm condition is
recognized, the system can notify the user via e-mail, instant message,
or cell phone text messaging.
Intellisense WLAN is a multi-piece wired and wireless system; base unit
and remote units (can be 100 ft apart). IntelliSense sensor modules are
easily configured via an WEB page that can be accessed with any WEB browser.
Configuration is as easy as "surfing" the WEB. The network
structure consists of the Intellisense WLAN base unit and a variety of
wireless remote sensors that can measure voltage, temperature, humidity
and switched input. Our remote control sensor can even be used to switch
on or off lights, heaters, and alarm systems.
THE SENSORS:
Intellisense WLAN comes standard with one Base Unit and one Remote
Unit. Each unit has its own sensors and can be accessed via a standard
HTML web browser. Below is a list of the sensors, what their functions
are and where they are located.
Base Unit:
- Temperature Sensor - Monitors the room temperature. You can
set the low and high temperature thresholds. If the temperature goes
above or below the threshold, you will be notified. For example, if
the heat in the room fails and the temperature falls below the threshold,
an alarm message will be sent.
- Motion Sensor - The motion sensor points toward the entrance
of the room. If someone were to enter the room, it would trip the motion
sensor and notify the customer. The motion sensor selected is a highly
accurate sensor that activates only when someone enters the detection
zone. It is not activated by moving curtains from wind etc.
- Loss of Power - Sends an alarm message to you if there is
a loss of power.
Remote Unit:
- Temperature Sensor - The temperature sensor in the Remote
Unit monitors the temperature in that room. This also has a high and
low threshold.
- Water Alarm - The Remote Unit can be connected to a wide variety
of float switches or water sensors. As soon as water either trips the
float switch or water rises to the sensor, the system will alert the
customer that there is water present.
- ON/OFF switch - A relay switch that can be controlled remotely
from your cell phone.
Typical Applications:
- Temperature Measurement
- Alarm Systems
- Remote Monitoring Systems
- Messaging Centers
- Sensor WEB Server
